There are a lot of local coffee roasters and small breweries in Alaska. It would probably take most people by surprise just how many in Anchorage alone.
Mike and Shala love trying new beers and new coffee, and Shala loves to blog. So combine the two, and they decided to write a blog about local beers and coffee.
We will be reviewing coffee, beer, the locally made meads and wines as well as telling you a bit about the establishments they are sold in, and the foods they serve. We hope that this blog will help acquaint people who live here to the wonderful diversity in beers and coffees that are made right here, and to introduce them to people who may be visiting our home state.
